WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
Exuberant bubbles and a brilliant, golden color testify to the vibrancy of this champagne. Lush aromas of ripe peach, apricot and pineapple cascade from the glass, chased by hints of vanilla and caramel, yeast, dried fruit, and honey. Intense, complex flavors of fresh fruit and caramel that morph into a long, lingering finish. Breaking with convention, the bottle has no front label: The G.H. Mumm signature and eagle emblem are printed in gold directly on the glass. Another striking feature of the design is its shape, which necessitated a whole series of innovations to the traditional champagne production process. Mumm Grand Cordon was created by award-winning designer Ross Lovegrove.
TASTING NOTES:

A fresh and balanced Champagne in the aperitif style, with the creamy mousse carrying flavors of ripe yellow apple, toast point and candied lemon peel. A hint of smoky mineral shows on the finish. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. Drink now.

This Champagne is showing well. Touches of toast suggest bottle aging while the white fruits and flashes of citrus give freshness. This non vintage cuvée is ready to drink.
