WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
Maestro Sierra was founded in 1830 by one of the top makers of sherry barrels. At the time, breaking into this world was no easy feat. Ownership of wineries the almost exclusive privilege of the nobility. In jest, the front label depicts a foxhunt in which the prey is the “Maestro Sierra” pursued by the hunters or “nobles”. The careful and long maturing in American oak barrels by the solera system, confers a unique bouquet and elegant style to all the sherries.
