WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
The nose shows aromatic blueberry and plum backed by pepper and vanilla. On the palate, the wine shows good body, with baked plums and dark cherries, with secondary notes of roasted almonds, toasted cedar, and hazelnuts, finishing long with fine, soft tannins. Pair this full-bodied wine with full-bodied dishes, pair the baking spice flavors with spice-forward rubs and marinades, or enjoy with anything from the grill, especially ribs.
