375ml HALF BOTTLE
WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
Medium yellow-green, silver reflections. Ripe yellow peach, pineapple, fine touch of honey. Juicy, yellow tropical fruit nuances, fresh acidity, white fruit notes on the finish, some honey, lemony aftertaste.
TASTING NOTES:
Full aromas of mango, papaya and star fruit with a whiff of floral honey. Very ripe, creamy and juicy, but with lovely, citrusy acidity and a salty touch at the very clean finish that pulls you back for more. A cuvée of chardonnay and welschriesling, made from grapes with plenty of noble rot, some of it shriveled berries. Drink or hold.

The 2020 Auslese Cuvée opens with an intense and concentrated, tropical bouquet with pineapple and green tea aromas. On the palate, this is a light but lush, intense and seamlessly textured Auslese with a dense and well-concentrated texture, ripe but elegant acidity and fine bitters on the finish.
