WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
Deep, complex aromatics are accented by dark cherry and a touch of cranberry. Barrel aging lends subtle smoky notes and hints of baking spices to the flavor. The mouth-feel is rich and concentrated from the low yields and warm climate of the Rogue Valley. The wine has great depth yet is very balanced and finishes with a delicate texture.
TASTING NOTES:
The wine’s aromatics are a powerful, earthy combination of cranberries, crushed marigold flowers and oregano. Pronounced acidity, a crisp texture and lighter body are the wine’s selling points, along with bowls of bright red cherry and raspberry flavors, and traces of coffee and bacon.
