WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
The Vina Robles Mountain Road Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep ruby red. Aromas of boysenberry, cassis with notes of dark chocolate, violets and a hint of amaretto. Full-bodied, lively acidity, boysenberry, dark choclolate with an enveloping chewy yet rich creamy finish.
TASTING NOTES:
From a vineyard that sits at 1,900 feet just 14 miles from the ocean, this bottling is packed with aromas of stewed red cherry, cocoa and dried mint on the toasty nose. The palate follows a clean, elegant and polished line of texture and flavors, with black cherry, mint chocolate chip and dried-meat aromas making for a savory showcase.

Ripe, dark-fruited character here with undertones of toasted hazelnuts, sweet spices and tar. Full-bodied, structured and broad. Very fine and polished with chiseled tannins and a long, persistent finish.
