WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
Organic wine from the estate’s 18 years old vines and sees 12 months in concrete and three months in bottle before release. Deep cherry red. That typically Italian combination of fruity and savoury aromas. Black fruit, spice, cherry spice and chewy texture. More depth than many wines from this appellation. An honest, food-friendly, chewy, fresh red. A little bit severe if you like, supple, plush red but would be a good food wine with this acid/tannin structure. Not a wallflower.
