WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
Grown high on the limestone-rich soils of Mt. Harlan, this beautifully aromatic wine displays enticing layers of Honeycrisp apple, peach and fresh brioche. The apple and stone fruit layers are echoed on the lush, mouth-coating palate, with undercurrents of cedar, wet stone, and spice adding nuance and complexity to a long, resonant finish.
Blend: 100% Chardonnay
TASTING NOTES:
-
This is a beautiful and intense chardonnay with so much flavor and intensity. It’s full and layered with caramel, cooked apple and peach pie yet it remains tensioned and solid. Like Grand Cru Burgundy. Old Wente clone.
