WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
Average production of about 3.3 lbs. of grapes per plant. This result is obtained with
chastened pruning and partial thinning of the bunches in the ripening phase. Deep red
color that with the passage of time is embellished with light garnet shades.
Intense balsamic and spicy aroma. There is a slight peppery note. Hints of ripe red fruit
reminiscent of wild blackberry are clearly perceptible in the mouth, sensitive toasted
notes of barrique give greater complexity to the wine.
Full flavor, decisive but soft. Further aging will bring even more interesting notes and
sensations.
