WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
Honig Rutherford Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is characterized by jasmine, peach, and white nectarine. Complemented by notes of key lime, ruby grapefruit, and Meyer lemon. A remarkable equilibrium between oak and fruit lends itself to a creamy, rich mid-palate that finishes with the essence of lemon curd and a hint of toasted marshmallow.
TATSING NOTES:
On another level, the 2019 Sauvignon Blanc Reserve is a brilliant Sauvignon that does everything right. Serious notes of candied lemons, crushed stone, white flowers, and honeyed white grapefruit give way to a medium-bodied white with good concentration, a bright spine of acidity, perfect balance, and a great finish. It still brings plenty of sweet fruit yet is pure, precise, and layered. Gorgeous stuff all the way.
