WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
The 2018 Folie à Deux Pinot Noir Red Wine is produced in the Sonoma Coast AVA along the coastline of the Pacific Ocean extending from San Pablo Bay to Mendocino County. The Folie à Deux Pinot Noir opens with enticing aromas of strawberry, red cherry cola, plum and black cherries with earthy, raspberry, black tea and notes of mocha nibs and soft hint of leather. Robust flavors of cherry, rhubarb and truffle complement the nice structure and judicious acidity with soft plush tannins that lead to a balanced finish. This Pinot Noir red wine is a perfect match for wild mushroom bruschetta.
This bottle of wine has 14.2% alcohol by volume.
TASTING NOTES:
This well-balanced red is earthy, with sensual aromas of dark plum and roasted coffee that lead to a palate brimming with wild strawberry, mocha, cedar, and salted minerality as well as savory black olive and Italian herbs
