WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
Aromas of blackberry jam, pepper, clove, and vanilla. Powerful yet elegant; bold tannins hint at the ability for long aging. Try with roasted meat, preferably one with a bit of fat content, game and beef stew.
TASTING NOTES:
Aromas of violet, red cherry and baked strawberry. Full-bodied with fine tannins. Lots of well-ripened red and black fruit with really nice, spicy complexity. Dark chocolate and espresso come through. Nicely layered.
