TASTING NOTES:
The barrel sample of 2017 Chardonnay Mon Plaisir leaps from the glass with energetic lime blossoms, Golden Delicious apples and grapefruit notes with suggestions of marzipan, baking bread, crushed rocks and butterscotch plus a waft of green mango. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with wonderful tension and lovely mineral layers giving way to a long, savory finish. 1,320 cases are expected to be made, to be released in July 2019.
