The old vines of the vineyard give us the maximum expression of the native Sangiovese, offering us a wine of great personality and tradition where a superb and varied aromatic complexity is inserted on a solid tannic texture, dense and tight, which together with fragrant acidity is guarantee of a superb aging potential.
TASTING NOTES:
Forest floor, violet and camphor aromas come to the forefront along with whiffs of toasted nut on this full-bodied red. It’s elegant and structured, featuring dried cherry, tobacco and licorice framed in tightly knit, fine-grained tannins, while fresh acidity keeps it balanced. Give it time to fully develop. Drink 2028–2036.
