WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
There are inviting aromas of cassis, toffee, fresh blackberries, tea leaves, and dusty currants. The middle flavors are lively and crisp with a mix of both red and black fruits. Raspberry, cherry, and boysenberry lead the charge. These combined with complex subtleties of cedar, tarragon, licorice, and chocolate make for a very exciting mouthful. The fruity acid is integrated nicely in to the medium-full body of tannin structure which lingers on and on leaving a juicy and refreshing finish.
