TASTING NOTE’S:
The deep ruby colored Columbia Valley 2012 Merlot is a full-bodied, elegant, perfumed Merlot that gives up lots of cassis, sweet oak, black cherry and a touch of crushed rock in the hallmark elegant, balanced style of this estate. The tannin is present, yet ripe, and it has enough concentration to keep for a decade or more.

The cocoa, cherry, raspberry and toast aromas bring plenty of appeal. The flavors deliver richness but without excessive weight. –

WINEMAKER’S NOTE:
The 2012 vintage has rich concentrated aromas of cherry, raspberry and chocolate that lead into flavors of cedar and vanilla with a lingering toasted oak finish. This highly structured wine was created to enjoy now, or for many years to come as it will age gracefully.
Blend: 82% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Petit Verdot
