WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
Stag’s Leap District was established not because of proximity it’s to a town or geographic terrain as Napa Valley’s other Sub-Appellations but because of its unique soil which is primarily red volcanic. This unique soil gives the wines a much more distinct flavor and level of intensity. Making this Cabernet an opaque purple color and aromas of sweet fruits, dark cherry, black berries, licorice and graphite. The mouth has very soft palate with silky tannins, blueberries and loam.
