WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
Deep and pure ruby in color, this wine has an abundance ofenticing aromas: beginning with boysenberry and blueberry pie, and leading to pastry cream, a bit of toast and a hint of menthol. On the palate, the tannin is supple and smooth. Flavors of blueberry and blackberry first greet the taste buds, leading to notes of chocolate-covered cherries and a fruit-driven finish that pops.
TASTING NOTES:
The deeper purple-hued 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a terrific Oakville effort loaded with pure cassis fruit as well as notes of spicy oak, scorched earth, and tobacco. Classic Napa Cabernet in every way, it’s medium to full-bodied, has ripe, polished tannins, a terrific spine of acidity, and the balance and purity to evolve for 20-25 years if well stored.

A fresh, overt style, with a lovely beam of red currant, bing cherry and raspberry paste stitched together with flickers of anise, sassafras and bramble. Delivers a pretty violet echo on the fruity finish. Best from 2023.

Notes of blackberries and cassis with hints of pine needles, cedar and chocolate. Full-bodied with firm tannins and a deep, juicy fruit core. Long and chewy finish with hints of stones. Rather polished tannins at the end. Try in 2023, to allow it to open.
