WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
Dark and deep purple wine. Unctuous aromas of cherry, cassis, cedar, blackberry, and slight hints of black pepper. Firm with a deep concentration of flavors. A delicate, silky texture frames soft tannins, which comes at the beginning of their long and pleasant finish.
Great food pairings include oven-roasted lamb, pork, or beef with black pepper sauce and spicy mashed potatoes or spicy sausage with a black olive baguette and Dijon mustard.
Blend: 94.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Carmenere, 2.5% Syrah
TASTING NOTES:
The subtle and elegant 2019 Gran Reserva Serie Riberas Cabernet Sauvignon was produced with grapes from Marchigüe in Colchagua and has moderate alcohol for a warm and dry year. It’s round, juicy and approachable, with the fine-grained tannins from Cabernet Sauvignon and some herbal notes in the finish.
