WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
Loaded with the classic mineral of the region, but its defining characteristic is the brush of lemony acidity that simply lasts and lasts.
TASTING NOTES:
The 2018 Chablis Village, matured for 12 months in 80% stainless steel and 20% used oak, has a vibrant, fresh, classic Chablis nose that many other growers were not able to achieve in this warm year. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, vibrant and zesty, showing a touch of spice on the elegant finish. This must surely be one of the finest Chablis Village of 2018.
