TASTING NOTES:
Poached and spiced red cherries and red plums, with a walnut-like sheen of more savory aromas. There’s a bed of fine tannins supporting the palate, which holds bright and juicy red-fruit flavor that darkens and enriches the deep, long finish. Try this from 2023.

Oberto’s 2015 Barolo Albarella is laced with the essence of dark cherry, plum, licorice, chocolate, spice and new leather. Radiant and generous on the palate, yet also medium in body and quite open, the 2015 will drink well with minimal cellaring. Today, the Albarella is the star in the range. It is also the darkest and most virile of these 2015s. Time in the glass brings out attractive floral and spiced notes that round things out nicely.
