WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
A lively, citrus nose with unique stone fruit character. Rich and soft on the palate with a mandarin-like ripeness balanced by the bright citrus on the nose. The mid-palate develops into a melee of ripe fruit flavors, including passion fruit and kiwifruit, and extends through to a lifted, fresh finish. A ripe, fruit forward alternative to many of the Grapefruit bombs on offer from Marlborough.
Arona’s fruitier style makes it a great food wine for scallops and seafood as well as lighter chicken dishes, appetizers and salads.
