Opens with ripe flavors of blackberry, plum, and black currant, with sweet toasty oak and a hint of black pepper. On the palate, dark fruit flavors of blackberry, plum, and black cherry, complemented by notes of toasted oak and brown spice with a smooth, velvety finish. Pair grilled portobello mushrooms, steak, short ribs, beef or veggie burgers, and aged cheeses.
