TASTING NOTES:
“Lavender and licorice tones give this wine a savory touch. The fruit comes from Oak Knoll and Coombsville, relatively cooler appellations within the Napa Valley, and includes the addition of 20% Petit Verdot. Rich, thick layers of blueberry, blackberry and cigar box meet dried herbes de Provence and sweet spice.”

WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
The Altvs wines come from selecting barrels that showcase fruit and pure varietal character that is more feminine than masculine within the context of the vintage. This 2014 is a singularly delicious bottle of wine with deep dark fruit aromas that lure you into the glass. It opens up to reveal classic black currant and berry syrup aromas. The tannin, acid, and alcohol are in such balance that wine feels sweet, though it is bone dry.
Blend: 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Petit Verdot
