WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
Aromas of tangerine and ripe melon lead to flavors of peach and apricot. Balanced acidity and juicy honeysuckle accent the finish with a hint of hazelnut.
Blend: 60% Viognier, 30% Grenache Blanc, 10% Chardonnay
TASTING NOTES:
This blend of Viognier, Grenache Blanc, and Chardonnay aged two months in (20% new) French oak and rested in stainless-steel tanks. Following powdery and sweet floral scents, notes of salted pear, tangerine peel, and jasmine create the wine’s namesake tension and lean edginess.

Fresh apple-flesh, honeysuckle and light lemon-butter aromas show on the nose of this blend of 60% Viognier, 30% Grenache Blanc and 10% Chardonnay. Lemon peel gives a fresh edge to the dried pear flavor of the palate, which also shows a steely minerality.
