WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
A blend of two-thirds clone 1 and one-third Musqué Clone, this wine was fermented in several different vessel types, including a small dynamic inclusion of new oak, stainless steel and neutral barrels. The smaller vessel types help promote lees contact and the wine was aged sur-lee for five months. Aromas of grapefruit, almond paste and key lime greet the nose. On the palate, the wine is fresh and engaging, with enticing spice and flint, harking to a more traditional style of Sauvignon Blanc.
TASTING NOTES:
The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc Estate Vineyard, which comes from Carneros, is a juicy, racy Sauvignon Blanc with plenty of green citrus and chalky mineral nuances, medium body, racy acidity, and a clean, dry finish. Drink it over the coming year or three
